Welcome to The Daily Pursuit website.  My name is Matt Perry, Founder of Daily Pursuit, but also serving as Pastor of English Baptist Church in Stephensport, Ky .  I am a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University (B.S.) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.C.M. and an M.Div. coming in 2003).

This ministry was borne out of a need to help people fill the void in their lives that only God can.  King Solomon over 2,700 years ago wrote, "He has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end."  Eccles. 3:11 (ESV)  We have a natural longing for something more than this world has to offer.  And I believe that the only place to find it is in the Scriptures.

Someone once said, "The Bible is an anvil with little hammers broken all around it."  It is indestructable because it contains the truth of the universe, our key to true fulfillment, and the thing that will satisfy the hearts of man --- touching eternity through Jesus.
